✅ We’ve all heard the phrases “What gets measured gets managed” and “If you don’t measure it, you can’t manage it” however, how many small business owners understand what that means, let alone are actually doing it?
✅ I can’t emphasise enough the importance of tracking and monitoring key aspects of your business in order to improve them.
✅ Imagine you’re running a bakery. You want to make sure that your cakes turn out delicious every time. To do this, you need to measure ingredients like flour, sugar, and eggs precisely.
✅ If you don’t measure these ingredients, you can’t manage how they impact the final product. By measuring and managing each ingredient, you can adjust recipes as needed to maintain quality and consistency.
✅ Similarly, in business, tracking metrics like sales, expenses, customer satisfaction, and employee productivity allows you to understand how your business is performing.
✅ Without measuring these factors, you wouldn’t know where you stand or how to make informed decisions to improve your business.
✅ So, just like baking a cake, measuring the right things in your business helps you manage them effectively to reach your goals.
